About the Club

The club has been in existence for over 25 years. Initially based in Broomhill, the club has been resident at the Sir Craig Reedie Badminton Centre (SCRBC) for over 22 years. Club members can join SCRBC separately if they wish to book courts at the SCRBC outwith the club.

We meet on Thursday nights from 20.30 till 22.30 hours. As a club we try to play throughout the year and maintain a regular Thursday night fixture. Where possible club closures are notified in advance. Depending upon numbers we play doubles or mixed doubles on a steady rotation to vary the play and hopefully increase enjoyment of the game.

The membership fee includes supply of shuttles and access to two courts. The club is affiliated to Badminton Scotland and renews annually through membership subscription. Feathered shuttles are played and games are scored. The club tries to maintain an intermediate standard of play.
